Perhaps the bright reds and greens aren’t your colours for Christmas.  This year Close To My Heart has brought out something new this year. Adult colouring books are the latest in leisure activities.  It is so wonderful to take time out from our busy days and use colour to develop some new creative ideas.  Whether it is a colouring book or designing your own CTMH have the products you need – colouring pencils – watercolour paints or felt tip pens we have them for you.

We are half way through the year.  July is that funny month when nothing interesting seems to happen in the Southern Hemisphere because it is dark and cold.

What about these facts:

• This month always starts on the same day of the week as April every year, and January in leap years.
• In a non-leap year, no month ends on the same day of the week as July, but it ends as January in a leap year.
• Water lily is the birth flower of July and ruby is the birthstone of this month.

The cooler weather has finally arrived and this weekend I got to sit down and start making some cards.  I really enjoy finding simple cards to make.  I love the fun of these smaller creations and experiencing  a mini creative moment.
